Faces + Places is a personal project that seeks to capture the spirit of adventure and exploration through the eyes of a group of mates. Whether it's a road trip through winding highways, exploring new fishing spots for the next bag out or discovering vibrant cityscapes; in essence, project aims to document the journey of friendship in new and exciting locations.

At the beginning of my photography journey, I didn’t have any knowledge, experience or even an idea of what to capture. So I thought why not just document my mates, just capture what we’re doing and the places we go. Nice and simple. From there my mates became my muse - I was more or less the memory archivist for our friend group. Anywhere and anything we did together I just brought my camera out and just took photos. Just having the intention of capturing memories while adopting visual patterns and photography techniques that I’ve learnt along the way. My ultimate goal for us in 20 or more years to look back on our mid 20s; where we went, who was there and what we did.

And the last 3 years documenting and capturing (still continuing), its blossomed into Faces + Places.
